Geeky Goodies is a mother/daughter
owned business.

We are Deanna - mom, nerd, Sith, kitchen witch - and Serena - daughter, geek, Jedi, neurodivergent, kitchen witch in training.

Together, we create magical and fantastical fluffy, cloud-like concoctions, with flavors that change with every season and holiday, often inspired by nerdy and pop culture references.

In the background, a vintage-style map-covered treasure chest overflows with pearl necklaces, rings, and a jeweled cross. A pewter cup holds one marshmallow, and a bottle wrapped with orange twine adds a rustic pirate vibe.

Two women stand smiling in a retro-inspired kitchen, wearing white blouses and geeky-themed skirts—one patterned with chocolate truffles, the other with potions and scrolls. One holds a mug labeled "GG" while the other presents a package of marshmallows from “Geeky Goodies.” A wooden counter in front of them displays colorful marshmallows, polyhedral dice, and jars, blending baking charm with nerdy whimsy.

In March of 2020, both of our jobs were closed for two months, and we filled our time with cleaning, cooking, baking, gardening, making jams and jellies, bread, cocktails (and everything else under the sun) when Serena decided she wanted to try making marshmallows. Vanilla and brown sugar bourbon were our firsts, and they were GOOD!

That Christmas, we made four flavors of marshmallows to gift, along with our usual cookie trays, and everyone LOVED THEM.

In early Spring 2021, we heard that our favorite marshmallow vendor was retiring and felt this was a sign for us to start our own business.  By 2022, we were in a commercial kitchen & attending multiple artisan and farmers markets.

Since then, we've grown exponentially, found a new and bigger kitchen and are expanding into bigger markets and conventions in more than 5 states.

We're Deanna and Serena, a mother/daughter duo who makes really good marshmallows.

  • Our research has shown that most marshmallows have a six month or longer shelf life, however, we place a four month "Best By" date on our labels in order for you to enjoy the marshmallows while they are still at their peak.

  • Right now, we are only opening orders up once a month with what we actually have in stock. When those are sold out, they're sold out until we can restock and open up orders the following month.

  • Deanna and Serena still have full/part-time jobs in their respective industries. We also currently only have access to our rented commercial kitchen two days a week in which time we are able to make upwards of 40 pans in a week (400 packs).

We hope that as we continue to grow that we can have more kitchen access in order to make more marshmallows, both for bigger markets, and for more online sales.

  • At this time, we cannot take custom orders, as we are only in our commercial kitchen 2 days a week, producing just what we need for markets & the once a month website orders.

  • We don't have one. Yet. Right now, we rent a commercial kitchen from a wonderful local church that also utilizes the kitchen for bi-monthly dinners and feeding those in need.

  • We may soon be able to offer once a month kitchen pick up days! We're working on details.

  • This year, probably not. We are currently researching inexpensive shipping options, insulated packaging and ice packs, and hope to be able to ship you fresh mallows without worrying you'll get a box of melty and delicious goo.

  • We are working on getting a dedicated business phone, but since it is literally just the two of us with no receptionist or customer service representative to answer the phone, we cannot always take phone calls when we are at our other jobs.

  • Some flavors are hit or miss and may be retired, and some flavors are strictly seasonal.  If one of your favorites is a seasonal flavor or Limited Edition, we recommend stocking up on them while they're in stock!
